SUMMER MINI SESSIONS
July 4 - September 1, 2022
Our 8-Week summer sessions are a great way to explore new styles of dance without the full year commitment!
Please note that there will be no classes the week of August 1-5.
Thursday 5:30 - 6:15 p.m.
Our Kidz Collective Kinderdance classes introduce the basic locomotor skills required in jazz and ballet by utilizing fun songs, silly rhymes, and creative movement.
Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:45 p.m.
This high intensity class combines high intensity interval training with dance-specific strength and flexibility exercises to help improve dancers' stamina, strength, and range of motion. Weather permitting, this class will be held outdoors weekly.
JUMPS & TURNS
12 & Under - Wed @ 4:45 - 5:30 p.m.
13 & Over - Wed @ 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Classical ballet is the foundation of all other styles of dance. It builds strength and discipline, teaches poise and posture, and is an essential component of a dancer's sound technical training.
Please note that due to current government restrictions, all summer classes will be held outdoors until the province enters Step 3 of the provincial reopening plan.
Junior (Ages 6-9) - Wed 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Inter (Ages 10-13) - Tues 5:45 - 6:45 p.m.
Senior (Ages 14+) - Tues 6:45 - 8:15 p.m.
Our jazz dance classes combine classical technique with modern dance trends. This fast-paced, high energy class teaches students poise, body awareness, and coordination while learning the fundamentals for kicks, turns, and jumps.
HIP HOP COMBO
Age 11 & Under - Tues 4:45 - 5:30 p.m.
Age 12 & Over - Tues 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.
This choreography-based class will challenge dancers to learn a new routine each week. Hip hop foundations will be explored along with other styles under the street dance umbrella. Styles examined may include party grooves & freestyle, house dance, popping, locking, waacking, and jazz funk.
Tiny Tumblers (Ages 3-6) - Wednesday 4:15 - 4:45 p.m.
Open Tumbling (Ages 7+) - Thursday 6:15 - 7:15 p.m.
Open Limbering and Contortion (Ages 7+) - Thursday 7:15 - 8:15 p.m.

Acro dance is an excellent training supplement for dancers who want to increase their strength, flexibility and balance. Dancers will follow thoughtful progressions to develop their acrobatic skills in a safe and effective manner. Our acro dance classes follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus.
